Miscellaneous Work

While on a studio trip to Seattle and Portland, I was walking around town and came across this old bar, probably built in the early 1900s.  The entrance struck me because of the odd entrance into the building.  The road and split into two different roads and the building was built based on the split, creating this dynamic, narrow, and almost unconventional entrance at the split.

In a 200 level graphics course, the assignment was to create an origami and sketch the piece, using only colored pencil.

Also in a 200 level graphics course, we learned the process of perspective drawing and shadow.

Growing up, I was intrigued by the works of Frank Lloyd Wright, especially his houses in his early career.  This particular house intrigued me, because of the red roof and vegetation that appeared to consume to the structure.
